Conquest II BACnet Router

The KMC Controls Conquest II BAC-5051AE is a multi-port BACnet router for BACnet IP, Ethernet, and MS/TP routing. This compact router is powerful enough to support heavy network traffic and small enough to use as a control technician’s service tool (for example, it can monitor and analyze traffic without routing it).

Dual IP ports support normal BACnet IP network routing, BACnet broadcast management device (BBMD) with network and port address translation, foreign device registration (BBMD), and PAD (packet assembling/disassembling). The MS/TP port supports baud rates from 9600 to 115200 bps. The BAC-5051AE also learns routing for discovered networks.

Mounting options include DIN rails and surface mount.

The BAC-5051AE is easily configured using an Internet browser. Configuration settings can be quickly saved and restored.

Diagnostic metrics include total devices, frame counts, frames in error, data frames, duplicate MAC addresses, token passing, and poll-for-master count.

You can also use the BAC-5051AE to troubleshoot communication issues using ping or by capturing and saving MS/TP network traffic (using industry-standard .pcap files) for subsequent analysis.

Additional capabilities include VAV airflow balancing using KMC BAC-8xxx or BAC-9xxx controller-actuators, AFMS configuration using an Airflow Measurement System (AFMS), and zone configuration using a BAC-120063CW-ZEC zoning Flexstat
